Georgia Senior Living Association Announces Matt Hopp as New Board Chair
ATLANTA, GA – 1/20/26 – The Georgia Senior Living Association (GSLA) announced that Matt Hopp has been elected as its new Board Chair, marking a pivotal moment for the Association as it looks ahead to 2026 and beyond.
Hopp, President of Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta and Guardian Pharmacy of South Georgia, brings nearly a decade of service to GSLA’s Board of Directors, having first joined the Board in 2017 and most recently serving four years as Vice Chair. He was elected by the GSLA Board, which represents senior living providers across Georgia, reflecting the collective confidence of the provider community in his leadership, perspective, and commitment to advancing senior living.
Guardian Pharmacy is a leading provider of pharmacy services to senior living and a long-standing GSLA industry partner member. While it is uncommon for an industry partner to serve in a leadership role within a provider-led trade association, Hopp’s election underscores the depth of trust he has built across the membership and the value of collaborative leadership within today’s senior living landscape.
Throughout his tenure, Hopp has been a trusted voice and collaborative partner, helping guide GSLA through a period of growth, innovation, and increased alignment between providers and industry partners. His appointment represents a historic milestone for the Association as the first industry partner elected to serve as Board Chair.
“This election reflects the maturity and unity of our Association,” said Catie Ramp, President and CEO of GSLA. “Matt’s selection by a provider-led Board underscores the deep trust he has earned across our membership. It also speaks to where GSLA is headed: as a truly integrated organization where providers and partners work side by side to advance the future of senior living in Georgia.”
As Board Chair, Hopp will work closely with GSLA leadership and the Board of Directors to further the Association’s mission of advancing senior living through advocacy, education, and partnership.
“I am honored to serve as Board Chair for an Association that plays such a vital role in supporting senior living across Georgia,” said Hopp. “GSLA represents the best of what our industry can be when providers and partners align around shared purpose. I am excited to build on the strong foundation already in place and help guide GSLA into its next chapter of growth, collaboration, and impact.”
GSLA looks forward to Hopp’s leadership as it continues to elevate the voice of senior living across the state and strengthen its role as a trusted partner, advocate, and resource for the industry.
