Each year during the legislative session, on a day that we call Advocacy Day, board members and other members of GSLA gather at the Capitol to meet their state legislators and talk to them about the issues and concerns of the senior living industry. We want our state senators and representatives to be knowledgeable about how proposed legislation might benefit or harm the industry and our seniors.
