Georgia seniors frequently encounter challenges during the voting process, and these issues can be especially pronounced for those residing in senior living communities. Directors are crucial in eliminating barriers for seniors who wish to vote, while also establishing safeguards for the community, particularly for more vulnerable seniors. Meet the Speaker:
Laura Williams retired as an Occupational Therapist after dedicating 30 years to caring for patients in various geriatric settings. In 2023, she joined the Center for Vulnerable Voters as the National Training Coordinator after encountering a voting-related question while working in a long-term care facility. She and her husband reside in Iowa and enjoy spending time with their adult children.
