Hero Award Nominations

Event Details

GSLA is accepting nominees for the 2026 GSLA HERO Awards! The 2026 GSLA HERO Awards are an opportunity to highlight, recognize, and nominate a Hero in your community, organization, or company.

Nominees will be honored in each of the following categories:

Volunteer
Direct Care Staff (ex. Front-line staff, CMA, CNA)
Community Staff Member (Non-Direct Care | ex. housekeeping, facilities, concierge)
Community Staff Leader (ex. Director of Wellness, Business Office Manager, or Director of Hospitality & Dining)
Executive Director (Must be nominated by Corporate/Regional Office or Owner)
Corporate Office Staff Member (Corporate/Regional Office)

Heroes will be honored at GSLA's Annual Awards Gala on Thursday, June 11th, in Atlanta, GA.

NOMINATE NOW

Please keep the following in mind as you submit your nomination(s):

Each nomination requires a $40 nomination fee.
A separate survey is required for each nominee.
Nominees must be members of GSLA to be considered for the HERO of Excellence Award in each category above.
Ensure all spelling is correct and refrain from using AI writing tools.
A high-resolution photo for each nominee is required.
Communities are limited to one nominee per category.
Refunds will not be provided for duplicate nominations per community/category. Please consult with your administration prior to submitting nominations.

Nominations will be received until 11:59 PM on May 8, 2026.
