The Certificate of Advanced Senior Living Leadership (CASLL) has evolved into a comprehensive, multi-session executive development program designed for administrators looking for growth beyond the building and thinking at the enterprise level.

Delivered through a series of virtual sessions and an in-person pre-conference learning experience, This program advances foundational knowledge into higher-level application and analysis to develop integrated, strategic leadership across the full senior living ecosystem, including resident care, financial performance, sales, regulatory compliance, risk management, and organizational culture.

Participants will engage in real-world scenarios, peer-level discussions, and applied exercises that reflect the complexity of today’s operating environment. Each session builds on the last, reinforcing how decisions in one domain ripple across the entire organization.

This is not a role-based training—it is a mindset shift.

Learners will develop the ability to:

  • Analyze the interdependencies between resident care, staffing, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and risk to identify operational strengths, gaps, and exposure points.
  • Evaluate leadership decisions and operational strategies using financial, clinical, and regulatory data to determine their impact on organizational performance and sustainability.
  • Apply integrated leadership strategies to real-world scenarios, aligning care delivery, sales practices, and team management with ethical, financial, and operational expectations.
  • Develop a strategic action plan that prioritizes key operational, financial, and leadership initiatives to enhance community performance and executive readiness.

The program concludes with an in-person session focused on applying key concepts, working through complex scenarios, and building a clear, actionable plan.

Upon completion, participants will earn the Certificate of Advanced Senior Living Leadership (CASLL), recognizing their ability to lead with an executive, system-wide perspective in an increasingly complex industry.
