Using a family-owned concept, Alex develops and manages assisted living communities with strong attention to Alzheimer’s care.

Alex has been closely involved with Cherokee County and Forsyth County Senior Services and Voluntary Aging Councils.  A member of the American College of Health Care Administrators, Alex is a Member of the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers.Alex Salabarria is CEO of Oaks Senior Living.  The immediate past chairman of the Georgia-ALFA Board of Directors, Alex has been one of our most vocal advocates and has done an outstanding job recruiting new members for our organization.

A graduate of Florida State University, Alex started in the hospitality industry in 1989.  He developed and opened his first assisted living community in Georgia in 1998.  He just opened a beautiful community in Braselton, GA, and plans to open another new community in the northern suburbs of Atlanta within the next year.
