Over the last 25 years, Beth Cayce has served in the roles of President, Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Officer and Vice President of Operations and Development for a variety of healthcare institutions. She has been involved in start-up, taking a company public, assimilation, turn-around, ongoing development and operations for acute hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, comprehensive sub-acute and outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing and assisted living. Beth also served as a consultant to several large healthcare systems and corporations.
Before founding CaraVita, Beth was responsible as President of PersonaCare and Senior Vice President of TheraTx for the development and operations of a $200 million skilled nursing, sub-acute rehabilitation and assisted living business in 11 states.
Beth graduated with honors from Georgia State University with an undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy and a master’s degree in Health Administration. Beth is currently the immediate past chair of GA Senior Living Association and serves as Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee. Beth has led us in this role for a number of years. Her dedication, passion and strength in carrying out her role have been unmatched. Beth has helped write many lines of legislation and testified many times before the Dept. of Community Health and the state legislature on behalf of GSLA, our members and the seniors they serve.
In 2012, Beth was named Small Business Person of the Year by the North Fulton Chamber. Also that year, GSLA named our new Leadership Award after Beth Cayce for all of the leadership and direction that she has provided to GSLA over the past 14 years. Beth was the first recipient of the GSLA Beth Cayce Leadership Award.
