Tech Summit Speakers
(in order of presentations)
Our keynote speaker, Robin Hackney, is the Chair of the TAG Digital Health Board. Robin is an experienced technology marketing executive with over 20 years of leadership experience driving marketing efforts for growth and mature stage companies. A serial CMO with focus on Private Equity-backed SaaS software companies, she uses her expertise across marketing disciplines to enhance brand strategy, operationalize demand generation efforts to drive growth and build high-performing marketing teams.
Eric Levitan, Founder and CEO of Vivo.
Eric left corporate America after more than 25 years of working in technology and running software companies to focus on positively impacting people’s lives and making a difference in the world. Witnessing the decline in quality of life of his own parents as they were getting older, he realized he wanted to better understand the aging process and help them. Natural loss of muscle mass as we age is a primary contributor to a reduced quality of life, loss of independence, and leads to numerous age-related maladies such as falls, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and more. However, consistently engaging in a strength training program reverses age-related muscle loss and is the number one factor in maintaining a high quality of life and independence as we age. This knowledge is at the heart of why Eric started Vivo – to create awareness and a safe, engaging, and impactful program to guide older adults to a better life. |
Fereydoun Taslimi, Founder and CEO of Sensorscall.
Fereydoun holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from King’s College London and a master’s in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology. Fereydoun has founded over 10 companies in various areas of technologies including multilingual computer systems and integration, smart switches, voice processing, interactive voice response systems, Java development tools, knowledge management, information discovery, and network monitoring and security. Fereydoun will discuss how senior home monitoring systems can play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of aging loved ones, as well as filling the human resource gaps in caring for older adults. These systems allow for discreet, non-invasive monitoring of seniors' activity and can provide peace of mind for the elderly individual and their caregiver. |
Rick Glassman, Project Architect with THW Designs.
Rick has almost 30 years of experience in architecture and design as a project architect, including renovations, additions, and new construction. He has amassed a unique portfolio of work in various market sectors and continues to expand his expertise by leveraging material knowledge with design implementation to ensure project success. His senior living experience at THW Design is highlighted by a clubhouse addition to Tryon Estates, a new campus for Corso Atlanta, and an assisted living expansion for Windsor Park Covenant Living. Rick holds a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University, is NCARB certified, is a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional, and a registered architect/interior designer in the State of Georgia. |
Morgan Crump, Marketing and Creative Manager with MapHabit.
Morgan is a marketing, design, and product expert, focusing on how the overall design experience impacts programs and products for different audiences. She joined MapHabit because of their dedication to support independence and quality of life for people with cognitive and developmental disabilities because Morgan saw first-hand how hard it was for her parents to provide care for her brother who has autism. She recognized how MapHabit would have helped both her parents and her brother to reduce caregiver burden and create better habits through the provision of education, cognitive engagement, and habit-building tools needed for professional and family caregivers to support quality of life and independence. |
Emily Alexander, Vice President of Customer Success at WelcomeHome Software.
Since graduating from Auburn University, she has worked in SaaS companies from 3 to 300 people. In 2020, she joined WelcomeHome Software in Atlanta as its first employee and Director of Customer Success. Since then, she has recruited, built and trained its CS function, which currently numbers 15 people. She's passionate about her team and her team and the emerging role of CS as a backbone to any thriving organization. |
Christian Ross, Founder and Chief Happiness Officer of Happy Talks.
Immersed in the real estate industry for over 18 years, Christian has managed over $2 billion dollars in real estate transactions and helped hundreds of families with their home buying and selling. Assisting clients based in Atlanta and from across 25 countries, the situations she encountered inspired her to create a solution for families that provided consistent emotional support for their aging relatives, while also managing their own lives. Happy Talks is a life buffer for families; focused on the power of listening and delivering quality conversations to older adults that are experiencing loneliness. When she’s not delivering happiness, you can find Christian reading, eating her way around Atlanta or looking for a new Hallmark Mystery Movie to watch. |
