Charles Mann, CSO and Founder of Accusheild
Growing up as the son of a senior housing developer and former owner of home health/hospice and home care agencies, he was immersed in conversations about senior safety and security from an early age. Witnessing his father's unwavering commitment to these values, he knew they would shape his own path In 2011, he returned to the family business and served as Executive Director at their flagship Assisted Living community in Atlanta, GA. It was during this time that the concept for Accushield was born. In 2013, he ventured out to found Accushield, pioneering a user-friendly kiosk system for managing visitors, third-party caregivers, and staff in Senior Living, Skilled Nursing, and healthcare environments. Accushield's tablet-based solution revolutionized outdated paper logbooks, ensuring a streamlined sign-in and health screening process for everyone entering and exiting the building. Exciting news! In 2023, he unveiled Flex, his latest innovation. Flex is an AI-powered, all-in-one platform designed for streamlined shift management, flexible employee scheduling, time tracking, and communication. With Flex, he's continuing to redefine how senior care facilities operate in the modern era. |
Brian Shulman, Consultant, Ageless Innovation.
Hailing from the Detroit Suburbs, Brian Shulman proceeded to Hail the Victors at the University of Michigan, where he received a degree from the Ross School of Business. In his early career, he struggled within the confines of a cubicle, working in commercial banking and specialty insurance wholesaling. Escaping the doldrums of TPS reports, he entered the exciting world of start-ups and emerging technology, where he worked on exciting projects like beer festivals and a four-foot-tall humanoid robot named Pepper. After watching his mom struggle as a long-distance caregiver for parents suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia, he became interested in technology at the intersection of aging, health, and technology. He joined Intuition Robotics to help commercialize ElliQ, a social companion device designed specifically for older adults to help them live a more active, engaged, and connected life. After four and a half exciting years of bringing ElliQ to market, he started Purple Hatz, a strategic consultancy, where he has the opportunity to help a diverse portfolio of “Age Tech” companies. He also volunteers as a Mentor for the Techstars Future of Longevity Accelerator (where he was voted an "All-Star Mentor"), as a Community Leader for Age Tech Atlanta, and as a Friendly Visitor for One Good Deed. Brian Shulman is passionate about building a better world for all of us to age into! |

Jimmy Myers III, Account Executive, Rendever I'm a native of Mississippi that has now resided in the Midwest for 9 years, and currently living in Chicago, IL. I come to Rendever bringing 11 years of sales experience, most recently working as an AE within the health-tech space focusing to help relieve the staffing and turnover burden within post-acute care communities. What initially captivated me about Rendever was not only the impactful story and message of being able to offer a higher quality of life for some of our most vulnerable within the aging population, but also the investment in great research, data, and publications that analytically show the tangible value that Rendever offers to residents, senior living communities, and families alike. I'm ecstatic to be a part of the team and am looking forward to further continue reshaping the way that we all currently imagine the aging experience. |
