GSLA's Annual Awards Gala is our opportunity to honor the outstanding individuals who have made
significant contributions to our industry and recognize those who continue to lead the way forward.

The highlight of the Gala will be the GSLA Annual Awards, where the GSLA Hero Award Nominees will be celebrated.
The winner of each category receiving the esteemed Hero Award of Excellence.
These heroes are the backbone of our industry, making a daily impact on the frontline
in Georgia's Assisted Living and Personal Care Homes.

GSLA will also honor a Lifetime Achievement Award to a long-standing friend and supporter of the Association.

The 2024 GSLA HERO Awards are an opportunity to highlight, recognize, and nominate a Hero in your community, organization, or company. NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Nominees will be honored in each of the following categories:

Volunteer
Direct Care Staff (ex. Front-line staff, CMA, CNA)
Community Staff Member (Non-Direct Care | ex. housekeeping, facilities, concierge)
Community Staff Leader (ex. Director of Wellness, Business Office Manager, or Director of Hospitality & Dining)
Executive Director (Must be nominated by Corporate/Regional Office or Owner)
Corporate Office Staff Member (Corporate/Regional Office)
Industry Partner (Company Based | Must be a GSLA member)

Nominees must be members of GSLA and will be considered for the HERO of Excellence Award in each category above.

Heroes will be honored at GSLA's Awards Gala on Wednesday, June 12, in Atlanta, GA.

Nominations will be received until 5PM on May 17th, 2024.

GSLA's reach within the senior living industry is deep and continues to grow. GSLA's member communities represent over a majority of the state-licensed beds (25+). The Association's education and communications reach is well over 3,800 and accounts for more than 85% of the professionals in the industry. The education and partnership events of the Association garner more than 2,000 professional touchpoints each year. Many owners, C-suite executives, regional representatives, and decision-makers call GSLA their home association for education, advocacy, and partnership opportunities.
