Certified Assisted Living Administrator Course

Effective July 1, 2021, HB987 established a licensure requirement for ALL ALC/PCH administrators. Georgia rules and regulations now require proof of completion of a 14-hour pre-licensure program and passage of a written exam to be submitted to the LTC Board for license.  This requirement is in effect - don't be caught off guard during your next survey!

Do you need your CALA License? Does someone on your staff? Join us for the June CALA Course. Participation in GSLA’s CALA Course fulfills the pre-licensure program requirement including the provision of a written exam which can be submitted to the LTC upon receipt of a passing score.

Participants will receive the following benefits:
  • Registration to the course
  • All CALA Course Materials
  • Required Exam
  • GSLA submission of Exam to Senior Living U on behalf of the participant (should exam be completed onsite)
  • Subsequent cohort communication & invitation only to additional administrator-only educational offerings.
  • Lunch and refreshments both days

Our last course had a 100% passing rate! Here is what one participant had to say:
"I greatly enjoyed the GSLA administrator course. Each instructor delivered the material in a way that was engaging and interactive. Most importantly, they incorporated discussion about real-life scenarios together with the theory which made it relevant. I gained new knowledge and sharpened my existing knowledge, and I'm sure each participant felt the same way. Thank you GSLA and each instructor for making this happen. Two days very well spent!"

Participants are responsible for subsequent licensure application requirements, documentation, and licensure application costs.
